Townsville is just another small city so we decided just to spent a couple of days here and then catch the ferry to Magnetic Island. Our first day here there wasn't a lot to do as literally everything was closed as it was good Friday, luckily we had a couple tins of beans and some bread so we wouldn't starve, lol. In the afternoon we decided to go for a walk and have a look around, we found a really nice area called the strand, we also saw some black cockatoos which are really freaky looking. So for the next few days we just relaxed in the sun and cooked ourselves some nice meals as we felt like we hadn't eaten properly for ages with Jen being ill and the kitchens being crap in the last few places we have been.
