Arrived in Hawaii At 11 in the morning and got a shuttle bus straight the our hostel, Waikiki beach side, which is fab. We have a a six bed dorm, but it is separated into 3 and 3. Our room has its own kitchen and bathroom, TV, microwave, and fridge, so we feel right at home. The location couldn't"t be any better, only 30secs from the beach, which is gorgeous, spacious golden sands, palm trees and perfect waves for surfing and boogie boarding. Ant bought a boogie board boasting he would be a pro, YEAh RIGHT. After 30secs in the water he was back winging his ass off as he had cut his foot on the coral. Jen on the other hand caught a killer wave first time and showed him u, but soon wimped out because she saw a bubble come up in front of her and she thought it was a shark. The sun is severely strong here. We laid on the beach for 2hrs with factor 30 on and got burnt to shit, so spent the following day in our room in agony with sunstroke, and only ventured out when the sun had gone. There re also really weird bugs here, big Ring which look like cockroaches and fly. Our second night here we were walking through the market and one of these bugs was flying around a Chinese women's stall. So she was trying to wack it, ant was oblivious until it flew up the back of his shorts, which mad him do a dodgy version of the Kan Kan, which was hilarious for me and all of the others watching.

After a couple of days recovering we went back on to the beach but stayed in the shade and also made sure we went in the water with our clothes on.

this time on the beach ant was the one who caught the killer wave it was about 40ft, i almost had lift off was going so fast (Jenna was jealous)lol. the evenings here are really relaxing and at the moment there is a thing called sunset on the beach, which is really cool. it has lots of food stands, live music, activities and after sunset they put a movie on a big screen in the middle of the beach, its great. we have watched pirates of the Caribbean and also the bridge to terebithia. really enjoyed it here and is much better than going to the cinema.

On our last day here we had the best time ever, went to sea life park and swam with dolphins , it was amazing. we paid the extra to have the deluxe swim, it was well worth it and good fun. Got to kisses the fishy buggers, feed them, play with them and get lifted out of the water. Got back around 4O'Clock and as Ant doesn't"r get a whole birthday this year because of the time difference on Fiji, we decided to go out for a meal here to celebrate his 20th, and considering he loves cheesecake so much we went to a restaurant called the cheesecake factory, which has the biggest choice of cheesecakes you have ever seen, greedy fucker wanted the lot. Then took one last walk along the beach and headed back to pack.

Apart from the sunstroke we have had an amazing time here, and have met lots of nice people. Two of the guys in our room, James and Dan were really nice both from England and traveling on there own. Doing the same route as us so may see them again along the Way. As well as the most laid back man in the world, Eureka California, a guy from Malibu, mid thirties travelers around and works for 3 months then has nine moths off to chill and surf.

to sum up hawaii, our hostel was absolutely brilliant, waikiki is gorgeous and the people are lovely, we really love it here, don't want to leave and would love to come back. Off to Fiji for more Sun, Sea, Sand and ssss suncream.
