we had a good coach journey to the airport, and had plenty of time at the airport to get around and have a bite to eat. we had left plenty of time to check in and when we did so we were told that all the economy seats had been taken. Panic set in for about a second before the nice man told us that we had been upgraded for free to m class. Didn't realise what this actually mean tuntil we got on the plane. To our suprise and excitment it meant that we had our own tv's (with remote), this had lots of films, games, music, and lots more. We also had pillows blankets, socks, toothbrush, headphones, and reclining chairs. So as you can see we travelled in style. Are luck soon ran out when we got to the airport in San Francisco. Out of everyone on our flight who did they choose to search US. It actually wasn't to bad only took ten minutes, and the guy was really nice.

Arrived at last, it was a strange feeling getting off the planes when it was 1.30pm local time when we left england at 10.40am. Jet lag is starting to kick in a bit. Had a stressfull first night as the hostel we are staying in is full over the weekend Alcatraz
Alcatraz
. All sorted now though it just means that we have to stay in a cheap hotel for a couple of nights which isn't too bad. (dont mind a bit of luxury). Woke up early this morning and ATTEMPTED to make pancakes lol. we have learnt from our mistakes use less mix and more heat ants was slightly better as you can see from the pics,(chef my ass).

We went for a strole and the city ended up being alot bigger than we expected, but we got the hang of it in the end. We walked from pier 1 to pier 43 which is a very long way, but there were plenth of sites to keep us entertained. The most exciting place was pier 39. There was lots to see and do here. We saw sealions which were hilarious as they were trying to beat the shit out of each other, the evidence is on camera. We also went on a bay cruise which took us under the golden gate bridge and around alcatraz, which was fun. Unfortunately that was the closest we will get to alcatraz as all the tours are fully booked for a week. We have found out that the reason why everywhere is so busy is because it is Labour weekend, which we think is the same as a bank holiday. We have also come to the conclusion that it isn't just the people here who seem to be abit crazy, so are the animals. During our cruise there was a great british seagul searching for chips or sumthing. and throughout the whole trip this beast was hovering literally centimetres above ones head, and at times took a vicious attack at some innocent bystanders, (oh deary)

We then took the long walk home, and you cant actually believe how many hills there are in San Francisco until you see it for yourself. We were bleady nakered. so we bought some food and ant cooked us up some pasta with tomato sauce, filled us up and only cost us a couple quid. yum yum!
