Katherine has been back in the UK for a few days now at her mother's bedside. I have been out here with Jamie and Zach and true to the sprit of little boys they have had a great time. They have both reached level 4 skier, fairly racing down the easy slopes stopping nicely and linking turns. Jamie already asks if he can head off in to the trees or down the steeper runs while Zach concentrates very hard on getting things just right.

While apres ski has not been quite up to the standards of St Anton, the boys have been great after skiing and we've been in the outside pool - a little cool, and in the hot tub - much more like it.

But with things still on very shaky ground back in the UK its time to reunite the family and call a time out on this adventure after just 1 week and only 1 1/2 days for Katherine. Hopefully we will be able to reconvene at some point in the not too distant future with Katherine's mother firmly on the road to recovery.

Still, a few photos of the boys showing how to get down a mountain in style and how to get the best out of hotel provided clothing.

Sorry to hear about Katherine's mother mate. I hope she has a speedy recovery. Just to cheer you up and remind me how great this year will (eventually) be - how little do you miss this saying "a huge equity rally that will be observed through yield and acted on by M&A, de-equitisation and asset allocation" Exactly!!! Take care and love to Katherine, Nick
