I cannot believe that I
volunteered delaying this Eastern Europe trip for 3 days! After
finishing reading Bendersen's "The Romanian," I felt that Romania seems
to be a very dangerous place, full of con artists and scary wild dogs.
No matter how chic "Lonely Planet" says it is, I think I need to be on
high alert when traveling there. Also, I felt 5 days' detour trip from
Budapest is too rushed to see Romania (it needs at least 1 week), so I
decided to remove Romania from my itinerary. But if I don't go to
Romania, where should I go between 5/16 and 6/22. Need I spend 6 days
seeing Budapest?

So eventually I delayed my trip for 3 days. At least I have 3 extra days to prepare my trip.

Unfortunately,
some unexpected bad things happened in these three days. If I should
have left for Europe as scheduled, those bad things might never have
happened....

Whatever. Still, off I come, Eastern Europe!
