Well, what happen is that I haven't even made any hotel reservation for my first stop (Athens) because I am not certain about my exact plan yet (and didn't tell my parents about that either...Sh...). After landing in Athens, I may just head directly to Corfu Island (just outside of Albania in the Ionian Sea of Greece) or maybe heading directly to Tirana, Albania. There is not much information about Albania on the Internet to start with. And there is even less information about bus connection and schedule between Athens and Tirana. I heard that Greek National Raiway (OSE) operates buses between Athens and Tirana. However, I cannot find any information on OSE website. Maybe the service is already disconnected due to low demand, who know? However, I did find bus schedule between Athens and Corfu (www.ktel.gr) and I'm sure there is ferry between Corfu and Saranda, Albania. So how should I travel? Still not certain even on my departing day.
Usually I get nervous before I leave for my trip and sometimes even trying to delay the whole trip. I did delay my trip for 3 days for my "First Balkan Trip" in May and it brought some disastrous results. Unfortunately, in that three short days, I ended up having a big argument with a long time friend P when I stayed with him in DC. It was quite unpleasant and I haven't talked to him since. If I had left as scheduled, then we would not have had chance to meet and argue. Thus, maybe we still talk to each others now...whatever.
So I hope, no matter what, I don't want to change my trip plan easily this time.
