The plan was to stop here for a quick bite on the way to Cape Town. Unfortunately, the bare chested, chain smoking chef at the Portuguese Restaurant (there's only one) has a really bizarre concept of "35 minutes". Luckily he had a scenic farm, 4 cute dogs to play with, supplies of beer, cricket on the TV... and was quite a good cook.

The 1+ hour delay took us from just beating the storm into Cape Town to being dropped right in the middle of it...
