It is fast approaching and I can't believe how much STUFF we have. I have been trying to store the household items and all our things these last two weeks and it boggles my mind as to how we came to have so much stuff. A construction waste bin (filled to the brim), several trips to the "sally anne", a masterpiece of packing up our storage room, a few trips to our storage locker and one, but probably another trip to our neighbour Barbara's basement, will do it. In the end, it feels really good to purge all this 'excess baggage'. It will be interesting to travel for a whole year with just a backpack. Talk about the bare essentials! The house feels strange with all the carpets up and it echoes when you speak up or play the music loud. We have everything in our ipods and we are ready with 2 digital cameras so ... I have a few things left to do: sell the van, pack up the last boxes, take the tv to Rick's house, make a manual for whoever rents the house, meet with the computer tech guy that says he can fix our computer from anywhere in the world (yeah!), and a bit of laundry. We got a nice email from Sue in India saying that their driver will be at the airport to meet us. This has the kids very excited, a driver, wow! Let the games begin!

We so enjoyed our dinner with all of you a month or so ago, and are going to follow your trip with great interest (and considerable envy!).
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
