The weather continues to be awesome. Custer State Park is huge and quite beautiful. The terrain here is very hilly and rocky and the grass is sparse in many places  It was great to sleep in this morning and not have to drive too far. Mount Rushmore was incredible. We spent 3 hours there before heading into Rapid City.  The drive to get to Mount Rushmore was 19 miles and it took 45 minutes to get up there with the winding roads, tunnels and steep hills.  We're seeing lots of Pronghorn and White Tail Deer in the park-no buffalo yet but we're keeping our eyes open! There are many mules that wander freely throughout the park.  Jenn got her texting working again-hopefully we won't have to endure tragic situation again!!  Enjoy the photos!
