We  left Ottawa at 1:30 today. After 800km of driving we reached Flint, Michigan. The drive was great-going through Toronto was smooth. We hit the most spectacular thunder and lightning show all the way from London to Flint-never seen anything like this before!!  Teenagers survived the first day. Luckily Telus offers unlimited texting in North America!! Thanks to P and J for lending us the Tom Tom-has come in very handy!! It's midnight and we're all a little tired. We have a long drive ahead tomorrow. We'll make it to somewhere in Minnesota and we'll arrive in South Dakota on Friday afternoon. Good Night!!
