Late start-slept in till 12pm-jet lag I say!
The video is looking up towards Times Square, then down 7th Avenue.
Spent an hour at Top of the Rock-the Rockerfeller Building-all the way up 67 floors and a couple of flights of stairs.
Rockerfeller building is great for panoramic views of the city. The Empire State Building looks great from here.
We also saw them preparing the famous ice rink. When we come back in six weeks time there should be people skating.
See what made Gabe's day!
Remember to keep humming all those songs about New York as you read these entries-
Rhapsody in Blue-George Gershwin, New York, New York-Frank Sinatra, New York State of Mind-Billy Joel, and those lines from the TV show-Green Acres.
Haze-hope the photos in this entry make up for the last one where there were none! Good grief! That was at 4am in the morning....that jet lag thing again-sheesh!
See what I did there? Closed the loop.(apologies for the work reference-obviously, not enough days away yet!)
Tomorrow another cruisy day before we pick up up Hannah and her friend, Cheira from Penn Station in the evening. Our little apartment is going to be cosy.

There is a market (not far from the Hilton Hotel) on Sat - food & all sorts -
good fun just for a walk. Also, there is a special for 2 day pass on the
explorer bus
