I got to Carson City Sunday night and found a room.  I took a long overdue shower and changed clothes.  It felt really nice after a week of dust on the playa.

On Monday I went to the state capitol building.  It originally held the Governor, Supreme Court, Assembly and Senate.  The Supreme Court is now next door and the Assembly and Senate building is next to that.  While the capitol has been expanded it now hold just the Governor, a few other state executives, a small museum and the original Supreme Court.  It's one of the smallest state capitol buildings I've been to.

I then took my car to a car wash.  It helped but you can still tell it was out on the playa.  I also spent a lot of the day trying to clean my camera equipment.  I'm going to have to send the camera and lens to Canon when I get home to get it cleaned.  I can see dust inside the camera under the plastic over one of the LCD displays.  And my camera bag will never be the same.  The dust killed the zippers.

Tomorrow I'm getting my car serviced and then heading for Lee Vining, CA.
