We set up camp on a bluff overlooking the lake. It was very windy and rained off and on. A float plane is due to pick us up in the morning.
It was time to move, again, today. It was, again, dry while we packed and for most of our hike. We first had to cross the cold stream next to camp. We then hiked up about 700 feet of vertical on the other side of the valley and then down for somewhere around 1,500 feet of vertical, with a total distance of around five miles, to a point at the west end of Twin Lakes. The terrain changed as we neared the lake with much of the area being covered in spruce trees.
