The town is charming and we'd love to see more of it - if the rain would ever let up! We've made it next door to the pub for a few meals, then back to the room to wait out the rain. It's been a nice spot to relax and get some work done on the book.

Well, we tried to stay here to take in the beautiful coast near Biarritz. But, as Lisa mentioned, it rained the entire time. The only place we saw for two days was the pub next door, but the owner became fast friends with us! He spoke a little bit of English, but he was a charming old man with a big heart, you could just tell. I am sure he wondered about us because we seemed to only be spending time with him, but by the second day he was slapping us on the backs as if we were long lost friends of his. I felt so at home.
