Lisa:
Tomorrow we head toward Biarritz, to see the "surf beach" and Spain for the first time. We've had a quiet stay here in Foix, getting caught up on our travel blogs and Internet since we haven't been on a such a long while. It's been raining all day, but by the time for dinner, it had cleared nicely, so hopefully tomorrow will be a nice drive. It looks like Hurricane Dean landed in almost the exact spot where we'll be going in October, so we've e-mailed the folks at GVI to see if there is anything we can do earlier to help repair the damage done. Will keep everyone posted if the plans change and we need to head to Mexico early. We received our "training manuals" for the Pez Maya expedition via e-mail last week. I have to learn all of the Latin names for the hard corals and Cheryl has to learn all of English names for the adult fish species...she's already got her note cards out and we're studying the flash cards as we speak!! :-) Will be back in touch as soon as we can!

Pez Maya
Hey Ladies; I miss a few blogs and I find myself on a whirlwind trip!!! Fantastic!! I even saw Priscilla. Gosh, the history is phenomenal. The world is so big, and I'm in such a small spot. I searched Pez Maya, watched a video (speaking of: thanks for the Uffriz video--fabulous!) and can't wait to hear your adventures. I hope the peninsula faired well with 'Dean'. It's quite educational and interesting. I never even knew it existed. Can't wait to hear--but first, any bull fighting from Spain? I love the travelling. You both look great!!!! Keep enjoying! Debbie :)
