Hey everyone! Well, yesterday while sitting at a pub in Killarney, Ireland, we decided to figure our where to head next. Before we knew it we were booked on a flight the next day (Sunday) to Belgium!  While it was not on our original list of places to visit, I can already tell it's going to be a nice place. We arrived last night after a LONG day of travel, but a good one. As always, it seems we're meeting wonderful people, to talk, to help, whatever is needed.
I have to admit at first this place made me nervous because it is the first place where English is not the primary language. We managed to get transport, directions to our hotel, and directions to a great place to eat (LATE). We also were able to order from the French menu with little effort! Of course it was an Italian restaurant and "lasagna" and "Chianti" are similar in both languages! French is the primary language spoken here and we want to learn as much as possible with Paris being next on the travel agenda for Friday. Bonsoir for now!

PS from Lisa - We're in a hotel!! A HOTEL! A real hotel with a mini-bar and everything!!! WOO HOO!! Brussels is a GREAT place!!!

Hi!!!
Wow!! What an adventure thus far! About six years ago I did the Beligum/Paris trip. It was fantastic!! Loved Beligum really loved Paris! The train ride from Beligum to Paris is nice too. I love that you have set up this place for all of us to read about your travels...it's almost like we all get to travel with you! Take care and be safe!!! Malissa
