BEFORE!
It was Cheryl and Deidre's first time, but Sandy knew the "inks" and kept everyone calm for that initial shock of needle meeting skin.
DURING!
I watched in awe. I'm such a chicken. Getting a tattoo -- or purposely inflicting pain on oneself for the benefit of art -- was a foreign concept to me. However, to my amazement, there were no tears by anyone -- only smiles.
FINISHED PRODUCT!
The finished products were awesome! Cheryl's Chinese symbol of TRUTH, with the words "...shall make you free" below is stunning. It's almost enough to convince me that I should get one, too.
