Home!!! Ahhh!! Lisa took a quick trip to New Orleans to celebrate Mom's belated birthday at Irene's and Cheryl headed to New Jersey to catch up with some friends as well. We landed back in Florida on Thursday night. Thank you Sandy, Steve and Ryan for taking such good care of us (again!). The wine was awesome and Steve -- you're the best steak-cooker in the world!! :-) We knew we wouldn't have meat like that for at least 10 weeks while we're in Mexico, and it was awesome. A wonderful "last meal in the states"! It was so great to see everyone we got to see and hope to see so many more when we have a little more time when we come back in late December. I guess we're finally RE-packed now, so onward to Mexico!

I will admit that I was getting a bit homesick during the last part of Europe. Truly missing my friends and family.. Well, having only the few days back was a tease! It was good to see so many friends I had not seen in some time, yet knowing I missed seeing so many others I would have liked to see, was a bit sad.
It is time to move on to Mexico though!
