There was a smile on Bob's face this morning. It wasn't the usual I've had a lie-in smile, it was a I'm going to Disney today smile!
We set off early (the first time Bob has jumped out of bed so far) and headed for Hung Hom to pick up our train tickets for the final leg in China. We then headed back on the metro on our way to Hong Kong Disney. We arrived at the station which enabled us to get on the Disney train. The train had mouse head windows along the side and a plush interior that the London underground could only dream of installing. We arrived 5mins later at the station.
Bob's smile was bigger than a Cheshire cats and Weeble was concerned that she wasn't going to fit through the door. We made our way to the entrance passing loads of Disney character flags and a grand fountain
Once inside the park we were issued with Halloween treasure finding packs. We had to solve clues in order to collect all the stickers and candy. Bob and Weeble were kids again!
Our first stop was space mountain followed by practically all the other rides offered. Weeble point blank refused to go on the tea cups though. Bob did however manage to get Weeble onto the Dumbo ride.
We saw the Lion King, The Golden Mickey's (Mickey sounds funny talking in Chinese) and best of all the 3D movie hosted by Donald Duck. It is also worth pointing out that Bob finally got her picture taken with Donald. Please view the pics.
We stayed until the end of the night watching the 'glow-in-the-park parade' which was fantastic, however proved impossible to photograph. There was also a fireworks display which was up to China's usual explosive standards.
