The hotel we had booked turned out to be rubbish. Unfortunately we were very naive and payed the full amount for the 5 nights we had booked - up front. We had checked the room over prior to handing over cash. We were prepared to put up with it - we were not prepared to put up with the building work that started at 6am. The builders must of had a field day being able to peak into our bathroom through the gaps in the boarded up window! We demanded our money back and they said they could only offer us another room. We went to the British embassy and they said they were well within their rights to keep all our money even if we chose to leave early. Weeble was not happy and Bob was fuming. Any way, we moved and stayed at a lovely hotel - double room with garden and breakfast!
We went to see the water puppets. Not bad but sat for an hour putting up with the worst singing ever was not pleasant! The actual puppets though were great, particularly the dragons which spat out fireworks.
