OMG so on Christmas day I woke up early to open my three presents, first I opened Bryn's present. OMG it's such a pretty elephant necklace! Yay! I love it ^_^!! Then I opened the Christmas present I'd been hanging onto since I'd gotten here. Yay for elephants ^_^. Then I opened the box that my family had sent me. It was a pleasant surprise to discover that there was so much more in it than what it had said on the box. It was all pretty much pink themed too. Yay! It's like my family knew exactly what I needed! After opening presents, I went to the library to drop off cds and videos for Yamaguchi sensei. Then I biked like a mad woman to Yahagibashi station because I was afraid of being late to meet up with John in Sakae. I got there just in time. We went for Starbucks and I found out that in order for my Japanese to improve, language school is probably the best bet. John and Jay's Japanese is as good as it is because they went through 9 months of intense language school. Somehow John relates learning kanji to math, I still don't quite get his method. We went to Parco afterwards because John wanted to educate me on music. First we went to the actual musical instruments section and I met one of John's friends and found out that ID gets all their sound system stuff from this guy. We then went up and a floor to the cd area and John said I need to know my music if I'm going to be friends with DJs, hahahaha. So yes I now know who Lil Wayne and Neo are. I guess I better get working on improving my knowledge on that. We went for lunch and surprisingly I could not finish my meal. Maybe my appetite has shrunk...I had some more Christmas cake for dessert though. Yummy! John had promised to show me around Nagoya but kept saying there wasn't really anything that interesting. Instead, we went window shopping at The Loft or rather I did, hahaha. just to kill time. We had ramen for dinner, which was okayish I guess... and then later on partied it up at ID. Oh yes this was the night it actually rained too. Surprisingly this time Jay wasn't dressed up and John was hahaha. After ID closed we went to Cream but it was pretty deserted because it was Christmas night. Nevertheless, I still didn't get a whole lot of sleep before meeting up with Emily and Roxy to head off to Hiroshima on our school trip the following morning.
