Monday was the school Christmas party! After much confusion and going
back and forth I ended up bringing all the cookies that I'd made over
the weekend for the party. It was lots of fun, there was so much food!
And everyone ate the cookies, of course ^_^. We played Bingo and even
Jenga and Uno! So yes in other words a very successful Christmas party
:D. For the gift exchange I gave away cookies and got a pink jar in
return lol. It's cute, it has a baby pink heart silicone top for it.
Dinner was yummy potato salad (they use Japanese mayo, it's so much
better!), rice, wonton soup, pork and a vegetable stir fry. Yummy!

Tuesday Aoyama's class was boring, I don't feel as if the students are
learning anything again. Anyways, after that I went home and had lunch
and then went to the post office to mail my New Year's card, bought
maroon tights for Saturday and then had Cooking Club! We made this
traditional Nagoya sweet. It's super yummy and super good, and super
easy! The recipe called for 100 grams of flour, 120 grams of sugar, 300
ml of milk and then either add matcha or cocoa powder. mix it all up,
then pour it into a milk carton that has been made into a loaf pan. put
in the microwave for 2 minutes. after two minutes, stir it around with
a spoon, making sure it's all mixed up. then put it in the microwave
for another 5 minutes, take it out and let it cool (or put it in the
fridge to speed up that process). That's it! hahaha, personally the
matcha one turned out the best I think ^_^. Dinner I had salmon, a
korean noodle dish, sweet and sour chicken, rice and this really good
egg thing, kind of like sushi without the seaweed and rice, is the
easiest way to describe it. After dinner, Kozue helped me book a hotel
or rather hotels in Nagoya for when Dad comes to visit. Now I'm just
figuring out what to bring with me to Nagoya.
