So Saturday I woke up early, caught the 7:30 train to Nagoya and got
there at around 8ish. Met up with Emily and Roxy at around 8:30ish and
we took the Kintetsu line to Ise. Took 2 hours! Most of it was
sleeping. We got there and went through the bazaar, I ended up buying
this fish cheese thing, because I needed something to sustain my
energy. We went to the Geku shrine at around 12ish I think? It was
cool, took lots of pictures, then we went to the main shrine, which was
AMAZING! The bridges were awesome! And the koi were HUGE! Although it
was a bit freaky how parts of this shrine looked exactly like Geku. I
think I'm all shrined out for now, I have now seen three Shinto
shrines. We went to Nagoya and I bought snacks for the month and had a
teriyaki burger from McD's for dinner. I got home at around 10ish and
the whole family was there. Kozue helped me figure out some of my cel
phone problems and there was even some dinner left over for me and
fruit! Yay. haha. I'm still not 100% healthy yet though.
