The weekend was a write-off, I was sick so I did not leave the house
for 3 days. My host mom was really nice about feeding me lots of fruit
though, persimmon, apple and even pear (not apple-pear). Dinner was
sushi saturday night, fish sunday night and chicken last night. I still
am feeling a bit under the weather, the temperature has also dropped
drastically. Monday we did more folktales with Yamaguchi, Issun Boshi
(one-inch samurai), Momotaro (Peach boy) and Sleepy Taro. Today I found
Aoyama's class very fulfilling, the students actually do practice what
I tell them too. Their english is definitely improving. I went to the
bookstore with Roxy, it was cool but I did not see anything I really
wanted to buy, once again I wandered into that section of the store, I
don't know why that keeps happening, honest! I then went to Apita and
picked up a crepe, nothing beats strawberries and whipped cream :P and
I also picked up a yogurt to try as well as senbei for snack. I then
biked to the other grocery store near the school and got some chocolate
snacks and this drink called pirukuru (like Yakult but cheaper). Still
not sleeping very well unfortunately, my cough has yet to go away.
Connor has forbidden my coughing and funnily enough, when I talk to him
I don't actually cough. Been thinking about sending postcards home, at
least I know where the post office is now. Dinner was more fish! Yay!
