Okay so Sunday I went to Emily's fashion show. On the way there my bike
got a flat tire. So I wandered around Okazaki Park (which btw, is HUGE)
and just found where she was in time. OMG her dress was gorgeous! And
she really owned that runway :P. After the fashion show we had crepes,
I know, I know, I seem to be having lots of those lately. Then we
walked to Higashi-Okazaki station and I went to AU and after hours of
figuring stuff out, got a cel phone with a 2 year contract. The ladies
were so nice, I had forgotten my homestay's phone number and zip code
and they looked it up for me. Oh and what surprised me the most was
they apologized for making me wait so long and gave me a cute AU dog
cel phone charm and get this? Five packages of ramen noodles...What
great customer service! Well the bus station to catch our bus to Tokyo
proved to be difficult to find, and so we ended up missing our bus. I
got home okay though and luckily caught the last train back to
Yahagibashi.

Monday morning, Emily called me at 7:30 in the morning and her host mom
picked me up and we were able to catch a cheap Shinkansen to Tokyo. It
took about 2 hours. So we got to Tokyo at around 12ish? Then we caught
the Chuo line to Shinjuku and from there we eventually found our way to
our hotel. We're all in the same room which is awesome. We went to
Studio Ghibli which was really cool, however the souvenir shop was
super expensive! It was definitely worth the $10 admission though. Just
wait until you see the pictures. We wandered back through Shinjuku
station and back to our hotel, I had a smoothie on the way back but
didn't feel like eating, at least I know what's wrong with me so I
shouldn't be having stomach issues in the very near future.
