So today we had Sasaki's class first thing and it was very helpful. I learned a lot! We also finally met Jay Sensei. He seems pretty cool so far. He invited us to the Halloween Party at his club in Nagoya. Sounds like fun to me! The three of us biked down to Apita and I had a crepe for snack (blueberry, strawberry and whipped cream) Also had my first experience with Japanese sushi. Not only is it really good, it is also really CHEAP! The plates were about $1 each hehe. We had Yamaguchi's class and read some Japanese folktales. The first one was called 'Baby Grandma' and the second one was HILARIOUS. It is called 'The Windy Bride, any guesses on what it might be about? I'm sure you guys will never guess it, hehe. I typed up the English version of the story here: http://www.geocities.com/erykah61/windybride.html So after school Emily, Roxy and I went to pottery class to finish our creations. It was a lot more fun this time, still frustrating but at least I was fed beforehand haha. We even went for ramen afterwards so YUMMY! I was tired by then though and went to sleep as soon as we got to Emily's house.

The next morning we had breakfast at Emily's house, had SKIPPY peanut butter! So maybe I'll buy some of that to have with my toast. Also had eggs and bacon (although they cook it rather strangely, it's still good!) and the toast had raisins or nuts in it so yay! It was nice to have a variety of food to eat hehe. We had Aoyama's english class first thing and then I went home for lunch. My host mom made me "Chow fon(sp?)" it was very Japanese-Chinese...made me miss my Mom's cooking. Not that it tasted bad, just different? I biked to Higashi-Okazaki and beat Roxy who took the bus there haha. We took the bus to Book Off and I found the Initial D volumes 1-10 for only $6! I don't care if I can't read it all yet, it was too good a deal to pass up. Actually there were many series there I would have bought right on the spot except I have to be practical about how much weight I can bring back with me...We went to Aeon Mall and also tried our luck with the vending machines that give out cel phone charms. I got what I wanted, Roxy got one out of the few things she wanted. Roxy showed me where the bus stop to get back to Higashi-Okazaki was and we grabbed ice cream from Circle K (the convenience store). I grabbed a chocolate one and then realized I got MINT CHOCOLATE! I was so happy, you have no idea how long I'd been craving it. I biked back home, took about 20 minutes but I felt so good afterwards ^_^. Had Yakisoba, I think chicken hearts or livers? I don't know couldn't tell, in any case it was good. My host mom also told me about the jam that I could use for my toast! So yay at least I have jam to put on my toast as well haha...

This morning was Aoyama's cross cultural class. The "Canadian Games" I ended up playing with the students were the song "A pizza hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Mcdonalds", the game "Head, Knees, Toes" and Telephone which didn't work nearly as well since the first group I had were actually good listeners and repeated the message back perfectly haha. It was still fun though! Had the buffet for lunch, although it didn't seem to be enough food I guess, or I was dehydrated because halfway through sewing class I got dizzy again. I recovered fine and made my pink elephant eco-bag. Can't wait to show you guys the pics ^_^. Then came home and had my tiny Japanese snacks haha. Dinner was won-tons and this really good cream soup with vegetables. Kind of reminded me of clam chowder haha.
