July 21 - Well we made it to Hyder today. The weather cleared up and it was a beautiful day. We got set up and hit the gifts shops and did a little window shopping and bought beer. Then it was on to the famous bear viewing area of Hyder. We hit the jackpot there we got a lot of pictures of a momma grizzly and her 3 cubs. It was just amazing to see. The cubs were running and playing in and around the creek. Momma caught a salmon and the cubs ate it. If I live to be 100 I don't think I will every see a better site than what we witnessed today. After the bears we drove about 20 miles up an old very rough gravel road to view the salmon glacier. I know we have seen many glaciers on this trip, but this one we got to drive above and look down on, so it was a little different seeing it from that angle instead of walking up to it from the toe or bottom. This day truly was a great last stop in Alaska.
