For last excursion with Thomson we opted for the Amalfi drive. This was a coach trip which took you around the famous Amalfi coast on the winding cliff roads with the sea below. It was actually really good. i wasn't sure about it coz of being on the coach most of time, but the views were amazing and it was actually quite nice to see them from the comfort of an air conditioned coach with someone telling you what you're looking at. We did stop a couple of times. We had a long stop in Amalfi itself which was really nice and we had a boat trip to see a different view of part of the bay. Its a hugely popular place for those with an awful lot of dosh and there are many celebrities that holiday in the area. Many of the hotels and private villas were pointed out and you can see why they are so sought after, the views were breath taking. As it happens i sat on the wrong side of the bus so taking pictures became difficult, i opted to mainly sit back and enjoy the views so not many pics im afraid. It was a great day and i'd recommend it, Amalfi was particularly lovely and i certainly go again...if i had the money!
