Our day started off with the Prague marathon (as watchers not participants!) We cheered the Kenyans and others on and had to walk into the city as the trams and roads were closed. Knowing our way round ... we both decided to spend time in what was the old Jewish Ghetto/area of Prague. One ticket took us to 6 attractions including the famous Jewish cemetary. It was a touching and soul searching time in the cemetary where bodies and graves stones are piled on top of each other. For us it was a beautiful day and there was a serenity to the scene but I'm sure in times passed it must have been so different.
We walked our legs off and returned to the hotel foot sore but happy with all we achieved. A delicious dinner was had at Rio's in the old Vysherad castle grounds and we slept like logs.
