Where I stayed
On the way to the airport Heather felt something 'sandlike' in her mouth ... a back filling had partly collapsed. What timing! She had panadol and some painkillers in case and we called SOS the travel insurance people for advice re a dentist in Prague.
The flight to London was a long one and neither of us slept well. Cathay's business class on this flight was individual 'pens' which meant we couldn't talk or see one another without standing up to talk over the dividing wall. H had little to eat in case it caused more tooth problems but enjoyed some sleep whilst B had little sleep and kept checking his BSL as they went sky high for this trip. We landed in London and changed terminals to the infamous Terminal 5 which is huge! The old Heathrow was huge - the new one is humungous and you seem to walk forever. Soon we were on our way to Prague, tired but OK. Thankfully this was the biggest leg of the trip over ... Having negotiated customs and found our luggage we met our driver and arrived at the hotel. It's delightful and we have a huge room and bathroom in a quiet area. It's a short stroll from Vysehrad Castle which we explored before an early dinner and bed. We'd been on the go for 24 hours and were asleep before our heads hit the pillow.
