We made it through LA without incident, and arrived in Morro Bay around 2:00. The weather here is just ideal, highs in the 60's and lows in the 50's. The RV park here is very nice, and right on the beach near Morro Rock. Morro Rock

My Precious has a friend that lives here, and is the breeder that sold us our female Eclectus - Emma. Suzie is a very nice woman, I've let her sniff me, and has been a good host to the two of us. Another of Pat's bird friends, Janet, has driven down to meet Pat. My Precious is very famous among the bird folk.

Morro Bay is a small community on the coast. We have toured its downtown, and harbor area Downtown Morro Bay

We had coffee at an internet cafe filled with aged hippies. This is a nice town, and I will play golf at the local state park tomorrow. The harbor area is a nice part of town that caters to the surfers, tourists, and anyone else with a buck. We are all going to eat at a fish place there tonight. Morro harbor

The plant life here is tremendous. There are succulents here that are bushes, while they are ground cover in San Antonio. Trees with blooms, and a sweet aroma is in the air. Morro Rock from the harbor

The harbor area is, of course, where the commercial fishing vessels sell their catches. The harbor area also has private boats at the marina. The Rock

There was also an Otter at play in the harbor, our first aquatic mammal. Otter

We probably won't take many more pictures of Otters.

HOT!
Well, we hate you!!!! It's not 100 today - but it's been hotter than the hinges of hell for some time. Highs in the 60's and lows in the 50's - man that's great sounding stuff.

Great place to be on vacation.

Ya'll enjoy.

PS - we go to Rio Concho Manor to 'sign Mom up' tomorrow!
