Well, I've got the routes mapped out on the computer with directions and places to stop. The Excursion and the Airstream are ready to go. I've got food for the pets, and cold beer for me. I've got my clothes set out. All I have to do now is to take everything to the trailer, put the food and beer in the fridge, stow my clothes, and wait for Wednesday to roll around. Anxious, hell yes. I've been waiting for a year, and I'm ready to see my Precious.
This leg is solo, but I don't think the birds will let me get bored. I know I'll have to get the cat adjusted to staying inside. He enjoys being outside, but that's going to have to wait until his Mother is around. The dog is a jewel of a traveler, she's happy as long as there's food in her bowl. My stops will be San Angelo, Clovis, Albuquerque, Flagstaff, Winslow, Victorville, and then LA. I'll be taking around 10 days to do this. I don't like to travel more than 300 miles a day, unless there's a real need to, when I'm towing; so my longest leg is just over 300 miles. I'll lay over in Flagstaff for 4 nights to rest and enjoy the 7000' altitude and cool weather. Then it's off through the desert and into California.

Poor Babies
So. all those pets don't have names? Poor things. I bet they will be glad when I get home--I know their names!
Safe Travels Tom
Sounds like you've got it all under control. Pretty tall order for such an old fart such as yourself. OBTW - Happy 61st Birthday Tom.
That's a long drive towing and I'm sure that you guys are ready for the reunion. I assure you that Mom Gower is very anxious to see you and spend some time with you on the way out and then on the way back as well.
We'll keep up with you along the way as you post the blogs!
Dan
Re: Poor Babies
Names? Of course they have names. There's Damnit, Stopit, Bequiet, and Putthatbackinthelitterbox.
