Our day started with a visit to a large city of ruins, Pamukkale, which is located about 20mims outside of Denizli.

The city is approx. 800ha and consists of natural hot springs, walls covered in lime, ruins of cathedrals, walk ways, 2 theatres, cemetery's and tombs they would bury people in for a period of 10 years and then recover and bury someone else in their place.

Following our walk through we headed off to the natural hot spring pools for a very relaxing swim followed by some gozlemè and a few drinks.

Our last port of call for the night was dinner at my hosts families 'summer' house (there's that term again)...

We spent the night with anger beautiful Turkish BBQ, drinking wine and telling stories. Great way to spend the last night in Denizli.
