Hola Everyone

Still in La Paz at the minute & Bernie & myself are addicted to eating on the street stalls. They have empandas eveywhere however we like the ones we use to get in Argentina as they are sweet in Bolivia. To make up for this we have found these rice & potato balls filled with egg or meat. The meat ones are great & the fun part about the experience is that you can load it with as much condiments as you like. For the people who know our eating styles this pleases us very much. Making up our stable diet throughout the day we hang out at the stalls with the locals with chili & mayo pouring down our hands. For 15 pence each maybe that is why they are also so good. We can also recommend eating at other street stalls for dinner where you will normally find a Bolivian women who sits behind about 5 very large saucepans (& I mean big) slapping food in bowls for pŤople. This way dinner is always a surprise which suits Bernie but I still have my reservations. For about 80 pence you get an amazing hearty meal. Bernie found himself getting a snack on the way home the other night & as it was 2am he was not thatspoilt for choice. Itdefinitelyy looked like meat however Bern said did not taste like meat. He kindly offered me a taste butfortunatelyy I was not hungry. He is a bit disappointed he does not know what it was as he would like to added them to his list.

Bernie has also been incredibly lucky/happy as he has found a couple of pokers nights happening in our friends hostels & ours. We also have an agreement, whatever he loses I get to spend at the markets & whatever he wins he can buy me something nice from the market. It may not seem fair but he get so much enjoyment out of playing poker that is enough for him. :-)

After a couple of big benders, with one getting back to the hostel at 8am (underground clubs have alot to answer for) we thought it was time to do something productive so we have booked ourselves on the dead road bike ride for tomorrow. I cannot wait.

There are pics to come also but we need to go & buy a new memory stick as we are just about out of space.

Love to all.
