Today we arrived at the old capital, first stopping at a large monument, then after lunch to a large and impressive Buddhist monastery. Although beautiful, it was very touristy and had the first flushing toilets that we'd seen on the trip!

We had a relaxed evening, with a shower and electricity, while we bugged Yuko to show us how to write all our our names in Japanese.
