Just an update on all the jabs I've had to get and the costs just in case anyone else is tempted to do this, and to remind me when I'm old(er).

Hepatitis A (I'd already had this one so no need for another one)

Typhoid (Free on NHS)

Diphtheria/Polio/Tetanus (Free on NHS)

Yellow Fever (£47.00)

Rabies x 3 (£14.20 - cost of 2 prescriptions)

Hepatitis B x 3 (£7.10 - cost of 1 prescription)

Japanese Encephalitis x 3 (£142.68)

So a total of 12 new jabs and £210.98!

I'm still deciding on the Malaria tablets at the moment, the ones recommended by the doctor (Malarone) work out at £800 for the time I will need them, so as I'm sure you will guess I am looking at alternatives.

I'll finish off with a lovely photo of my tooth! The first one I've had out (and hopefully the last), and I was fortunate that it came out in one and hasn't caused me any trouble (so far and fingers crossed). I don't know whether to keep it as a lucky charm, or maybe sell it to a medicine man in a far off country...
