With a bank holiday I wanted to make sure I made the most of the weather so I checked out a destination that had been recommended to me after a plea on the facebook Luxembourg network! I went up to the lakes near Esch Sur Sure - the furthest north I'd been so far. After a drive around trying to find access to the lakes I decided to settle for a nice view of it instead and stopped in one of the parking areas. Lots of people were spread along the greenery, playing football, relaxing, having bbq's and picnics, so I took my blanket, travel books and picnic and settled under some trees for the afternoon. It was lovely to have a bit of a read and snooze in the sun oh and of course a bit of a walk and explore too!
I'd had a lovely couple of days but I was starting to crave some conversation so was glad to go out that night with Robbie and his friends to the Black Stuff and then a club - Muka Muka. There was an amazing sunset on the way out so I stopped to take a photo of that. At the club it was free entry and tequila night so I had a good drink and dance, and spoke to lots of people that could understand me. I even got my picture on the local radio website ha ha (along with about 80 others!). I've nicked it and put it on here but I was talking to a Dutch girl who wanted to meet some English people - although I was 11 years older than her and most of the people in the club!! Got home around 5am.

I had a relaxing day, caught up with some ironing, and after I collected my car from the pub I headed out for a walk and decided to visit the American War Memorial and Cemetery. It was very interesting and the sight of all the gravestones was quite emotive.
That afternoon, I had arranged to pop over to Anna's for tea along with another lady from work. It was lovely to sit in the garden with a glass of iced tea and nice food yum yum. It made me think about the Saturday night question of tea at 5pm and made me laugh - it was around that time!
