I have been very busy since the day I arrived in Portland. Today was the first time I really had time to get out and see some of the city. I went to Chinatown and to the Chinese Gardens. After that I walked over to the Portland Satuarday market. A lot of interesting things to look at. Than I took a few black and white photos of the older part of downtown, and one other special effect type picture of a fountain. One picture on the lite rail system (called the MAX). I also included a picture of Mt. St. Helens that some of you might have seen already. I had always heard Portland was a nice town, but it is far nicer than I had expected. Very clean and a lot of things to see. I will try to update my site as often as I can, but I have very little spare time. Underneath the map you can subscribe to my updates.
