Spent our last morning in Pushkar round the lake taking photos. Got a cab arranged for us to Ajmer train station for the 6 1/2 hour Shatabdi Express to Delhi which is the posh train. We were fed and given tea alomst all the way but the train was a bit grubby, far too cold with the air con on full blast. My favourite bit was the toilets, which I frequented, which had a big hole straight onto the ground below. As you sat there the wind rushed past your ass, I have seen many toilets now in Asia due to my condition but these were amongst the most enjoyable. Unless you are one of the many who live alongside the railway lines.
Arrived Delhi 11pm and barged throught the armies of touts, crossing mad busy roads with ease feeling like locals. Went back to the hotel we stayed at first time round, the Smyle Inn off the main bazaar. The bombers had mostly been rounded up so felt a bit safer. Had a nice kip and got up for the flight to Hong Kong! Delhi International terminal consists of just 11 gates with about 3 planes there at one time, it makes Liverpool seem like Heathrow. Had a Subway (curry of course) and boarded the plane. Watched Kung Fu films all the way to Hong Kong.
