Well it had to happen, its time to talk about going to the toilet.

Part 1. It all started with the breakfast curry I had, yea, I know, why a curry for breakfast? Lets just say "you had to be there!" it was too chilly hot to eat, but I did it, and it complained the whole time it was inside, but when it was time to exit, well, let me tell you, cramps, pain, fever, and the burn, wow, I reckon it was hotter going out than going in! Not something I want to do in a hurry again, but it was great to feel completely cleaned out!!!!

Part2, Lilly discovers her first Thai toilet. A scummy bus stop near Hau Hin on the way south to Ko Samui, Just imagine, two textured tiles to place your feet on, a hole between them, and the idea is that you squat, and hope everything goes into the hole. The is no flush, no toilet paper, nothing to hang on to, just squat and squeeze! The idea is that you put any paper you use in a bin provided (you must be kidding), there is a ladle to spoon water into the hole to flush the mess away, and to ladle over your self to wash your private parts. Oh what fun!

We finally arrive in Ko Samui after a torturous overnight bus trip, we had planed on coming by train (sleeper cabin) but the holiday weekend stuffed that idea up. We ended up catching the bus, then a boat and finally a mini bus to the wrong resort, so after catching a private taxi we arrived at Maenumburi Beach Resort, a collection of pleasant bungalows on the edge of the Gulf of Siam, complete with air-conditioning, TV and a real toilet (see above re toilet adventures). We feel we have finally arrived to our holiday destination, feel like everything up till now has been all about getting here, and now we can really sit back and take it easy.

I have had the toilet experience my self in vietnam....as much as you dont want to do it your body refuses to hold on and next thing you are squatting, eyes searching for anything that might land where you dont want it to and creepy crawlies that might crawl to were you dont want them to. Just to mak... show all
