Munching in Munchen

Dear Readers:
I paid for another 24 hours of internet service in my room last night in Bucharest, so rather than sleep I ordered a pot of coffee to the room and posted photos to my blog. The charge is 22 Euros (about 26 dollars) per day, and I rue authorizing the charge, but want to get as much work done here as possible so I can move forward with posting our itineraries on the Toto website as soon as I return home.
The pleasant surprise upon checkout at 3:30am this morning is that they have not billed me for two days of internet service! I bring it to the attention of the desk clerk, and he just shrugs his shoulders. I don't complain further!
The airport check in goes smoothly. Perhaps they have relaxed things somewhat? I was able to carry a bottle of water through the security checkpoint. Maybe I just look sufficiently harmless. Anyway, I say farewell to three of my clients who are departing on earlier flights, and spend a couple of hours in the Business Lounge fighting to stay awake. I finally have to give up the fight and ask the lady at the desk to be sure to wake me when it is time to board my flight.
I am now in the Lufthansa First Class Lounge in Munich, and have only half an hour before boarding so I'll post this now. Another update will arrive when I reach Chicago.
