New York, 9:40pm

At 5pm I am fading fast, having only a few hours of sleep the night before. I catch a quick nap and slap myself back awake at a quarter past six. Anton and I are to meet at a seafood restaurant called "Fresh" at 7pm. Traffic is terrible and I am late. Anton is working hard, as always, and he is running late too.

We both get to the restaurant at about the same time (late), and I drink coffee to come back to consciousness a little better. Anton is on the home stretch of a case that has a February 22nd deadline for production of documents for the other side. He has been working every night and every weekend for weeks. I am fortunate that he was able to take the evening off to spend with me, although his partners are pressuring him in the taxi on the way back to his apartment to come back to the office again tonight 10 Anton at home

. He resists, but is working at home now. I will look forward to a weekend in March or April when his deadline is past, and he can come to Chicago for some better quality family time.

Anton eats every single meal out of the house. If he didn't have a roommate, there would be absolutely no food in his apartment. We stop at a nearby supermarket on the way home so I can purchase some milk (organic) and bananas for breakfast. The bachelor ways won't continue for much longer, with his July wedding date rapidly approaching.

So I'm blogging and he's working. This is "normal" life at the Warehouse . . . whether it be New York or Chicago!

Hugs,
Dan
