This last bit of the tour has been bang bang bang -- absolutely no time to get to the internet. One of my clients is letting me use his laptop wireless here in the hotel lobby. My birthday was the most amazing and wonderful day! We toured the Saheliyon Ki Bari ornamental gardens, which had lots of members of the Sikh religion there. Next we toured the City Palace, and then we went on a cruise on Lake Pichhola, which seems to be a popular bathing spot for the locals.
My birthday party was better than I could have hoped, with a music system and dj, and lots of fun music and dancing with sparklers in a private dining area. What a blast! I got a horribly sore bum from the horseback riding earlier in the afternoon. My guide and I trotted almost the entire 1.5 hour ride, and that is a lot of bouncing around. I've been applying creams and unguents since the ride, but I didn't let it spoil my birthday fun!
