Dear Readers:

I was first off the plane and first through passport control, and my bag came out about 5th. I hurried through customs and found the man who was sent to the airport to pick me up. We stopped at an ATM and it didn't work for my card even though it had the PLUS logo. We found a Citibank ATM so I was able to get some local currency.

I spoke with my tour supplier (at 1:30am, if you can imagine), and he is going to meet with me here at my hotel this afternoon at 2pm. I am going to go upstairs and take a sleeping pill so I can try to get my body onto this local time -- which is night for day what I am used to. I have meetings today, and a trip to the Baha'i Temple tomorrow. My group doesn't start arriving until Monday, so I have time to get rested.
