Cairo to Amman, Jordan
Dear Readers:
There is not a lot to report on today, as it is really the relocation day from Egypt to Jordan. We check out of our hotel by 10:30am and transfer to the International Airport to clear out of the country and prepare for our Egypt Air flight to Amman, Jordan.
Everything goes like clockwork, and we are met by our Jordan guide and presented with a packet of information about the country. Driving to the hotel we immediately notice that we are in a more civilized (westernized) country. The roads are in better repair. People actually drive between the lines with their lights on, not swerving all over the place with their lights off (even at night) like they do in Egypt.\
We are staying at a very lovely hotel, and dinner tonight is served in one of the hotel restaurants. It is a delicious set menu, and the waiters are gorgeous. The tour extension is definitely off to a wonderful start! Weather forecasts are iffy for tomorrow, but we fall into bed with hopes that the warming trend will come sooner rather than later!
Hugs,
Dan
