A fantastic place close to the border of Israel, with incredible sights. We begin walking along a Roman road through an ancient necropolis with hundreds of ornate stone and marble sarcophagi. Next we pass through a triumphal arch and visit the enormous hippodrome where chariot races were held.

Leaving this site we continue to another archeological excavation with a road covered in mosaics, an arena used to practice sports like wrestling and boxing, a thermal bath, and on to the beach where we were able to observe several young men taking a celebratory plunge into the cold sea to celebrate their upcoming graduation from high school.
