Arrived here tired and worn out, having spent the past two nights travelling on a bus and a plane. Go into Santiago at 5am, and got taxi to hostel Forestal...which turned out to be a seriously mingin, filthy and unhygenic hole. We stayed here one night as it was already paid for. But swifly checkt out the next morning and moved to Chilli hostel which is 100 times better.
Just being updating this travlpod since we got here....yes it takes ages to do!!! Last night we met up with Carey & Terra, the two Americans who did the Lares Trek with us. They´re both teaching here in an International school. So we went for a lovely dinner last night & had good time catching up & reminisicing over the trek.
Thats all the news so far. We fly out from santiago airport on Oct 1st and head to New Zealand. Really looking forward to it now, but we still have lots of planning and booking of hostels to do. Ok ciao for now, chat you later amigos xoxoxo

CHili Hostel is good. but the best is Hostal Santa Lucia.. the cleanest and more comfortable Hostel we have been. www.hostalsantalucia.cl try it you wont regret. the roof terrace look to the whole Santa Lucia Hill.. and the owner prepair BBQ great!!
