After 4 months of traveling non-stop, we have sort of settled down in this little city called Georgetown.  We like it because it's small and manageable, easy to get around, and full of interesting people and mixed cultures.  There is a lot going on here and we try to do a little bit each day, but mainly this is what we have been doing:
--Watching the World Cup with our Chinese hotel employees (who thought we would ever watch this much sports?)
--Going to the movies (A-Team and Toy Story 3)
--Making watercolor paintings (We were very excited to discover quite decent paint, paper, and brushes in the supermarket...for very cheap)
--Visiting Buddhist temples (including the largest one in southeast Asia)
--Eating Dim Sum and Indian Food (See blog post "People, Markets and Food of Penang")
--Conversing with many older generations of Penang residents (one lady asked us if we had tried Durian. Yes we have tried it and No it's not for us!  She loves it of course.  She also warned us that if we eat the red dragonfruit to not be alarmed when we "pass motion" and it is red.  Thanks hun.), Skype-ing with friends and family
--Wandering around grocery stores in the constant search for cheese that is not processed (See related blog post "Some Things You Would Never See...")
--Frequenting the large pet store/aquarium shop
--We even tried "Chingay" with these men in the park!!  Jon was a natural! Watch the videos
