Fredericton - Jul 23 at 11:41 p.m.
Today was definitely an improvement from yesterday. Having driven for 14.5 hours the day before, we thought we would hang out at downtown Fredericton, and check out the local scenes. We had lunch/breakfast at this restaurant called the Lunar Rogue Pub. Awful food! I ordered a hamburger thinking they cannot ruin something so basic. Not only the food was bland/tasteless, but it was over cooked.

The main attraction of downtown Fredericton was the Historic Garrison District, which is about two block long. Within the Historic Garrison District are City Hall, the Sports Hall of Flame, the Soldier's Barracks, the College of Craft and Design, the Beaverbrooke Art Gallery, and the Officer Museum. The highlight of our trip was definitely the Beaverbrooke Art Gallery, which has an impressive collection of works from such artists as Salvadore Dali, Sandro Botticelli, Lucien Freud, Attila Richard Lukacs, Henry Moore, Alex Coleville, Barbara Hepworth, William Turners, Gainborough, John Constable, and Sir Joshua Reynolds.

Given our bad experience with food, we thought we would try Mexican at the El Burrito Loco. Not bad, but the beer was better!

Tomorrow, we are heading to Charlottetown, and Cavendish (P.E.I). Not sure if we will have Internet access there, but I write soon!
