Had a nice sleep-in while some people went jet boating.

Once they'd returned, we took a morning walk to the Blue Pools, which are really a river.  It’s so clear that the water reflects the sky.

Next, we visited Thunder Creek Falls, a lacy 38-meter high waterfall.

Our picnic lunch was horrible, since the infamous West Coast sand flies ate us faster than we could eat our sandwiches.

Later, we took a cool swamp walk with interesting, drippy foliage that reminded me of the Louisiana bayou.  The walk continued to some "lakes" that looked like marshes, and out onto a beach that’s famous for its abundance of jade.  I found some green rocks, one of which looks a lot like the greenstone I’ve seen in boutiques here, so who knows.

In the afternoon, we headed to our campsite, which was glorious for one reason only… it had a trampoline!  Sarah, Jo and I screamed uncontrollably the entire time we bounced, laughing hysterically and feeling like we were six years old again.  I’d forgotten how fun those things are.
